Meze House

3-5 Rose Street, Aberdeen AB10 1TX | 01224 624203 | www.mezehouse.co.uk

Small restaurant very centrally located, just off Union Street. Unpretentious, it is more cafe-style than chic restaurant. But, the meze and the main courses are very good. It's not licensed, so if you want alcohol you need to take your own – they will serve it for you for a small corkage fee.

77-79 Skene Street, Aberdeen AB10 1QD | 01224 636093 | nargileaberdeen.co.uk

Superb Turkish and Middle East cuisine, served in a wonderful, friendly atmosphere.

The Nargile is on Skene Street. From Union Street head up Union Terrace to the traffic lights outside the Central Library. Turn left and then left again in about 100 yards at the next traffic lights. Nargile is about 100 yards on your left.

Rendezvous at Nargile

106-108 Forest Avenue, Aberdeen AB15 4UP | 01224 323700 | www.rendezvousatnargile.co.uk

IRendezvous at Nargile serves many of the favourites from the Nargile restaurant in Skene Street along with some new items. The restaurant area is quite small and it is perhaps inevitable that space is tight to cater for as many diners as possible. The food was excellent, but, on a detail note, the red wine was served a little too warm. On a summer evening you enjoy the evening light from the west through the big windows.
